Letter October "gentle voice"
日本では平安時代より虫の声を愛で、秋を楽しむ風習がありました。「源氏物語」の第三十八帖の巻名は「鈴虫」。
野の風情に造りかえた前庭に、秋の虫を放った貴族たち。
命の限りを尽くすように鳴く、そのやさしい声にはしみじみと心を打つものがありますね。

人間はやさしいことばを投げかけると、やさしいことばが返ってきます。
思いやりを会うひとりひとりにあたえていると、その思いやりがまためぐりめぐって戻ってくる。
これがひととしてのほんとうの生きるよろこびだと思います。
